“The entire process was really easy. From the consultation to the purchase and installation everyone was very professional. Marco is great. The finished product is beautiful and I am very happy with Southern Showers.”

This Rockwood family had an old jetted tub boxed in with beige stone-look tile and a diamond border, a lot to climb over and a lot of grout to scrub. We tore out the tile and the tub and put in an oversized 40" x 60" Southern Showers shower with a white base, marble-look walls and matte black fixtures. A barn-style sliding glass door, a fold-up seat, two grab bars and six corner shelves make it easy to step in and get ready.
Completed June 2026 in Rockwood, TN.
Shower base
40" x 60" in Alabaster White, center drain
An oversized, grout-free base with a low threshold, so stepping in is safer than climbing over a tub wall.
Removal
Jetted tub and tile surround taken out
No more cleaning jets or chasing mold in old grout lines; the space becomes one open shower.

Fixtures
Matte Black head, trim and valve
A bold, modern finish that stands out against light walls and won’t show water spots.
Enclosure

The door glides open along the wide opening, keeping water in without swinging into the room.
Seat
Bamboo fold-up shower seat
Sit down to wash or shave, then fold it flat to open up the shower again.
Safety
12" and 24" grab bars
Sturdy handholds in matte black for steadier footing on wet days.
