This Manchester family had a walk-in bathtub that took up the whole alcove and made a quick shower slow, since you wait for it to fill and drain. We removed it and installed a 32" x 60" Southern Showers shower with a white right-drain base, bold marble-look walls and matte black fixtures. A frosted barn-style sliding glass door, four metal corner shelves, a foot bar and a white ceiling panel finish the primary bathroom.
Completed August 2025 in Manchester, TN.

Common questions

Yes. We remove walk-in tubs and install a shower base and walls in the same space. This Manchester homeowner traded a walk-in tub for a shower, so there is no more waiting for the tub to fill and drain.
It is a sliding glass door that hangs from a rail across the top, like a barn door. It slides sideways instead of swinging out, which saves space, and frosted glass adds privacy in a shared bathroom.
Most installs take one day. Our installers remove the tub, set the base and walls and finish the fixtures and door. If there is extra work like plumbing changes, we tell you ahead of time.
No. A tub-to-shower conversion only changes the bathing area. Your floors, vanity and toilet stay where they are, which keeps the project quick and the cost focused on the shower.
No. Matte black hides water spots and fingerprints better than many shiny finishes, and it wipes clean with a soft cloth. It pairs well with marble-look walls and a black door frame.
